122 - I've seen that done with Hyuugas too, particularly Neji. I think it tends to be something that happens when the character is from a clan. I'm also fairly sure I've done it from time to time, and I'm not sure where I picked it up, but as I think about it, it's not uncommon in fantasy literature that I've read, dealing with the noble families. Though in Sasuke and Itachi's cases, it actually makes more sense because there really aren't all that many Uchihas running around.

130 - ...I would wonder if you're me, but I only have MSpaint, so it doesn't seem likely.

Or it could be they are actually more interested in the romance, I have never head any writer bad or good complain about how hard it is to write friendships, mostly they want to write a romance because that is what interests them. So I think it just has to do with interest.

I know what you mean! I am so worried about the third season. I'm hoping Charles is alright, scared but healing. The guys are still together and Mordhaus is being rebuilt, as it was or better.

I don't think Brendon and Tommy will do anything drastic, but they might make us sweat over an episode or two. The only good thing is it will be a half hour show next season. (I hope with 20 episodes, but I'll be happy with 10 and an a fourth and fifth season.)

101. Some of the movie adaptations are not bad at all (hel-lo, Laurence Olivier?) but Ethan Hawke's version is so LOLworthy I can't even. He sends his letter with Rosencrantz and Gildenstern in an email! The steed that saves him from certain peril is a motorcycle! Even in my high school English class we knew that version was a real joke. The only upshots of that version is 1) Bill Murray can be my Polonius any time, and 2) Liev and Julia made me ship Laertes/Ophelia (it's wrong but so right). As for the text itself, I'm pretty sure Hamlet/Horatio has been thrown around Shakespeare fandoms for decades, if not centuries. The true question is, how do you feel about Gertrude/Hamlet?

Newsies was the perfect storm: a kids' movie but live-action so you don't feel too bad about watching it when you're older; hot teenage guys with androgynous dance routines and songs that made any perceived sexuality ambiguous; an alluring time period that is ripe for OCs of either gender; more minor characters than you could shake a stack of papes at, with clearly defined archetypical personalities but not enough screen time so writers could do whatever they wanted with them; it's the go-to nostalgia movie for 20-something women, who (don't quote me) are probably the majority when it comes to who's seriously writing fanfiction these days....did I miss anything?
