I put my e-books at 3.99. High enough that I hope people will think they've been edited and I respect my writing. (Plus some of my books are really long.) And then low enough you can also get a cup of coffee for the same amount. (My paperbacks are way too low for POD)

Do I think some trad publishers are charging too much for ebooks. Yes. Absolutely. I really don't think an ebook needs to be above 8 bucks. But I tend not to BUY trad pubbed ebooks. I still like buying paperbacks if I can. It varies from publisher to publisher if an author actually gets more from an ebook sale or not.
