You seem unable reread my comments and take them at face value for what they actually said. Other people are saying you are projecting because I did not actually say any of what you are saying I said. The comment you quoted did not say any of the things you claim it's saying.

For example,yes, one of those commenters, who would buy their friends' things, would be one of the 3 sales that OP made. Unfortunately most people are not like that and harder to sell to, even if friends. The other things you are claiming I said are not extant in the comment.

I'm not going to continue this thread, because please understand I cannot argue with someone who decides on their own that I am saying a whole lot of things I am not saying.

It says some of the things I was saying. The others were a result of tone and implication, which are so easy to clear up. So I was waiting for you to clarify everything, that's why I kept saying things about you meaning well, not being completely wrong, and probably being a decent person outside of that one comment I took issue with.

That's completely true, and I wouldn't disagree with this at all. It even brings some clarification to your comment that makes some of the negative implications be seen as misunderstandings by me. I don't like to argue, and it's in my nature to be tempted want to see the good in the people's arguments. Especially if I might have missed it the first time. It's not the best personality trait, and I have to fight it when I have to. But I didn't have to fight it at all with you because your earlier arguments to others were sound.

I took issue with you saying "When you try to sell a product you're on your own and your products have to stand for themselves without you. And you will then discover whether they can. That's how things go." Because that was something that seemed wholly irrelevant to the fandom or friends aspect of the secret. I regret saying you were a dick, and not saying that part could be seen as a bit cold-hearted to say, if not objectively true in the strictest sense. Because it could have been a tonal misreading that happens all too often when trying to judge tone over text. You still haven't really brought up anything for this part, but whatever, I'll discard my misgivings as more misunderstandings by me.

Sorry I've been so long-winded, that seems to be something I have a hard time turning off sometimes.
