I feel this way about Hallmark Christmas movies. (Please don't judge me, they're the only thing that kept me from screaming during the first few months of the pandemic.) Christmas in Love, A Wish for Christmas, Christmas Land, Christmas Under the Stars, Christmas Under Wraps, Switched at Christmas (Ok, comparatively, that one is incredibly descriptive)... and referring to them as "the one where the widower gets stranded in smalltown USA" doesn't help narrow it down either.
