I'm 99,99% behind the choice of not subtitling Amaya's signing when nobody's interpreting for her. Deaf people don't have subtitles magically appearing under people talking in real life, and hearing people can always adult up and learn sign language if they want to be part of the conversation.
But... what about the very small percentage of international audience that uses LSM, DGS, LSF, BSL, whatever other than ASL? Sign languages aren't universal either so what about inclusion for international Deaf fans?
