I definitely can't tell the actors apart, but I have this problem with western-made shows too if they have similar hairstyles and hair colors.

The bane of my existence is stuff like Band of Brothers where it's all white guys with medium builds and dark hair wearing the same uniform.

Same. With Asian shows, my main issue is that, especially with fantasy/historical settings, they all have similar hairstyles/-colours and often dress in the same or similar clothes/uniforms. At least there are a lot of shows where colour-coding characters/sects is a thing. Change their clothes and I'm lost.
But yeah, western media with military settings are the exact same thing -similar hairstyles/-colours and clothes.

Yes, I was doing well while everyone had their sect uniforms on...then I was lost! But I've come up with some really out-there plot twists just because I thought several dark-haired 30-something white guys were just one dark-haired 30-something white guy (shoutout to Holden from The Expanse) so I think it's my problem, not Cdrama!

I know! It's very well-written, but man, I had problems with it.

Military/uniform shows aside, people who cast and run shows and work in wardrobe and makeup need to think about adding differentiators on some of these programs where they can, even if it's just glasses or something.

Band of Brothers was impossible. I had no idea why Winters was so glad to see that guy after the invasion, for instance. And they've all got the same accent too. And the same enormous helmets.

I liked Bull because I could tell him apart.

Lol same. With all shows. I just watched the first episode of a German show today and I was like, "Wait, this guy has a girlfriend, a boyfriend, and a wife??" but it was two guys.

Now you just have to tell me if one of them has a wife and a girlfriend and the other a boyfriend, or is it some more interesting combination ;)

I'm going to watch more because the story line IS super interesting, but I am pretty sure one cop has the boyfriend (could be husband) and the other cop has the girlfriend and the wife.

Extra points if the two cops end up cheating on everyone with each other?!
