Same. With Asian shows, my main issue is that, especially with fantasy/historical settings, they all have similar hairstyles/-colours and often dress in the same or similar clothes/uniforms. At least there are a lot of shows where colour-coding characters/sects is a thing. Change their clothes and I'm lost.
But yeah, western media with military settings are the exact same thing -similar hairstyles/-colours and clothes.

Yes, I was doing well while everyone had their sect uniforms on...then I was lost! But I've come up with some really out-there plot twists just because I thought several dark-haired 30-something white guys were just one dark-haired 30-something white guy (shoutout to Holden from The Expanse) so I think it's my problem, not Cdrama!
