It's been a while since I've watched it all the way through so I might not be 100% remembering but...

For me about two and a bit seasons were ok? The first part of the first season wasn't great but then it seemed to get into its stride. But I recall quite enjoying season 2-3 and it's after Elizabeth was half-killed by that laser blast and they had to move the city where it started to go off the boil for me. It literally felt like they were making it up as they went along, which ok is a common thing for science-fiction, but it was too obvious. I also really, really hated Replicators in SG-1 sooo.

I thought there were still some good themes throughout though, like Sheppard's interactions with Todd and the ethical questions it posed (especially given what happened with Michael.) I don't think that arc (Todd) really got a satisfying resolution either iirc.
