Oh gosh, same here. There's something very off-putting about a character putting their arms round someone's waste! and even if it isn't common, it is unforgettable.

I get this completely.

I might not think a fic is good if I find a lot of typos. But I usually know what they meant, so I don’t mind it. And sometimes I don’t even notice unless it’s a particularly egregious example.

I’m just glad I’m not like my mother, who’s job of being the office spellchecker way before there was software for that has made it impossible for her to ignore even the most minor of errors without being irritated.
