I didn't know that, but I hope you're not using that as an example of time well spent considering how terrible the rest of that show was.

I'm saying it can be done, was done, and apparently one of the things the show got mild forms of praise for.

Of course it can be done, I never said it couldn't. And like the guy in that first link pointed out if the actor isn't fluent in ASL it's probably not great to look at for any viewer who is and also rather terrible representation. So maybe with live action that's a good comprise, if they actually put in the work to make it look like a real sign language. But the secret is about an animated show so I guess I don't really see the point.
