I love the Sherlock one, so I went to check out the Doctor Who one, and is it seriously 5 hours long???

Yeah, I’m kind of shocked that I actually watched the whole thing (although not in one sitting). I’d say it’s worth checking out a section or two. It’s pretty well thought out and organized for such a long video.

FIVE HOURS?? I. Okay.

The pandemic has given me a strange love and affection for what I think of as comedically long youtube vids. Sarah Z's deep dives into fandom, Jenny Nicholson's Vampire Diaries vid, Contrapoints vid on envy.

But five hours is. Even just having it on in the background while I do something else, it's like, what am I gonna do for five hours straight? It's a no from me dog.

I don't understand why they don't split them up into multiple parts. Surely that would help their views? I know I would be way more inclined to watch a series of shorter videos than one ridiculously long one.

The creator usually does split his videos into parts if they would go on for more than an hour. So that makes his decision to let this one video be 5 hours even more baffling.
