I recently got into Danganronpa V3 and this [Amaguji] is my main pairing. They don’t interact in the main canon, only in bonus mode part of the game that’s considered an AU. Still, they’re my fave characters anyway and I liked their interactions in the bonus mode. Since there’s no real canon basis however, I thought they would be a rarepair.. but they have 400 freaking fics on AO3!!!

I seriously underestimated how big DR fandom is! Even in other fandoms like AA and Yakuza, my rarepairs only have 5~30 fics and those have far more canon basis and interaction. I should be happy my main pair has so many fics but now I just feel jealous for my other rarepair OTPs. Ahhhhh!

I 100% believe that they do it on purpose to create drama. And I hate it. I want to see how good the bakers are at baking, not how good they are at coping when it's impossible to complete the assigned task.

And they've even started having the hosts say "Oh, we had no idea it was going to be so hot!" now but I don't believe them at all. They're dirty, dirty liars. They do it on purpose.

There's probably a reason for it, but I agree. At this point, isn't the show successful enough to... I don't know, move it to a studio setting? It's just sad how the bakers have to struggle with the heat personally and then have it affect their bakes.

I think the slowness and awkwardness is kind of the point, no? It makes it a very soothing, gentle watch, as opposed to most gameshows featuring comedians which tend to be a lot more boisterous and energetic.

They always do this kind of stuff on purpose to mess with the contestants. I heard that they sabotaged the contestants on Gordon Ramsey's Hell's Kitchen like turning down the ovens, fiddle with the stoves, and I quit watching shows like this because I hate it, too. I just want to see the cooking and who wins.

Fic advice - accidental or indirect kisses?

I'm writing a Five Times fic (5 times X kissed Y, and 1 time Y kissed X) and I'm kind of struggling with the first kiss. I've got the others all mapped out but I can't really settle on the first one. I want it to be a pretty innocent, low stakes thing with plausible deniability (because X is generally not a kissy person and does not want to be seen as such). So I thought I'd go for either an accidental kiss or an indirect kiss, but I'm not really sure of the specifics.

So I guess what I want to ask is, do you have any specific favourite scenarios or setups for accidental or indirect kisses? Any examples you can link to that might give me some inspiration?
