I remember this one author's note I read for a story that "I came three times while writing this chapter." I think it was a bit much, but hey at least that was the author themselves saying that, and not a random stranger.

I feel like people who overshare in the A/N tend not to be strong writers. So for that reason this author's claim may have the opposite effect than the one they were going for. The overshare itself wouldn't bother me, though, and I'd still give the fic a shot.
