Really OOC stuff. I don't mind different interpretations of characters, but things that are so completely OOC, where the author isn't even trying to make them match who they are in canon, just doesn't work for me

Demonizing heroes to woobify villains. I hate this in canon too (see!Maleficent, Wicked, and the live action Grinch movie). I like villain redemption stories, when done well. But I hate it when heroes are made into villains in order to make a villain a good guy. And in general when villains aren't redeemed but actually supposedly really heroes all along.
