I too am becoming even more tempted to read it by both your comment and the OP. I've never been turned off to reading it or anything, despite the "awkward" subject matter; rather, I just never got around to it. Jeremy Irons is PHENOMENAL in the movie though. But I think he could play the role of a bag of chips and I'd say he was the best bag of chips I'd ever seen.
