Re: Secrets you don't want to make...
(Anonymous) 2021-11-20 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)General Youtubers:
Usually I watch the whole video - even with ads - when I want to to support a channel, but I will 100% skip the sponsor part of the video if it's one of the following sponsors: Raid Shadow Legends, Audible, Skillshare, Express VPN, Squarespace and Hello Fresh. I'm so sick of hearing the same clearly given by the company phrases over and over again (there are others that are really close to that point, too).
No one can make those sound charming to me anymore.
NerdECrafter on Youtube:
I used to love her crafting videos. She was never the greatest artist around, but I thought her videos were charming and I genuinely learned some stuff for her.
I know that due to health reasons, she can't craft as much anymore and I fully respect that. I still watched her videos trying out craft kits (or kits in general), even though I already wasn't a big fan of her and her sister turning cute occasional catch phrases into things that got said in every freaking video plus annoying sound effects... but now she's doing these "I bought 1000 blind bags on Tiktok" kind of videos that feel like something she used to criticise. I will probably unfollow soon, but I'm genuinely sad about it.
Swell Entertainment on Youtube:
I really really hope she's going to puppy school with her dog. I see so many red flags (giving him treats when he's barking, letting him chew on fake human arms AND her own hands) and just hope that these are simply little glimpses that mean nothing.
Glee (dredging up old fandoms here!):
I was so glad that Rachel ended up with Jesse. That had been my wish for her since season 1 (I know I know the egg incident and all that - I obviously wanted character development first!), but it feels kinda icky to think that and back then I obviously also didn't want to say it.
And yes, OF COURSE I'd have rather had the obviously always planned Finchel ending if that would mean Cory would still be with us!
Lord of the Rings movies:
Back when I watched The Return of The King in the cinema, there was this one moment at the end where I was for 2 seconds convinced that Aragorn was going to marry Legolas. It was pretty dumb and surreal and ofc I actually knew that Arwen was right behind Legolas but it's still one of my fondest cinema memories and I relive them every time I rewatch the movie.
