Possums. Lots of them. Crows, sometimes hawks. The occasional escaped/feral chicken.

I grew up in Santa Monica in the 80s. We didn't get coyotes coming into the actual city when I was a kid. Definitely not in broad daylight People would just let their cats run around without worrying about them getting eaten.
