I was burning out on the MCU. I still haven't seen Black Widow or Shang Chi. But I did go see Eternals because I needed a theater day. And it has rekindled my MCU love completely. It was so good. It was better than the last two Avengers movies, better than either Spiderman movie. It was just good.

I still haven't seen BW either, as much as I want to. Not because I'm burned out on MCU, but I'm pissed off at Disney for the shit they pulled (what else is new). Plus, I'm a spoiled princess who couldn't stand non-empty theatres before the pandemic, so I wasn't going to see BW in theatres during it's summer run.

(Oddly, I do have a Disney+ membership. Yeah, I know. Wtf on more than one level.)

I might consider Eternals though.

I loved Eternals too! I saw and liked BW and Shang-Chi too, though. I’m just happy we’re in a new phase, because I was also burnt out as hell with the last.
