This, honestly. When I watch something, I want to discuss it, and that discussion also involves the parts that I didn't feel were done well. I can love something to death and still feel that a particular plot twist was contrived or that a particular character's development felt rushed.

When I watch stuff with/for friends, it's because I want to talk about it with them! But there isn't much to talk about if their only opinion on it is "I loved it and thought it was awesome."
