109. The fact you call him a "nancy boy" is PRETTTTTTTTTY clear you really know nothing about the source material so there's no need in saying so. He really isn't and pretty kick-ass. Plus, his anime VA is the same VA is motherfucking Kamina, so his justice speeches are packed with automatic Konishi awesomeness.

Although I do think he is a big fan of Superman and Captain America.

Also, outdated notions of masculinity is outdated although Alfred is pretty macho even though he's pretty childish.

115. Er, I don't see how Jon/Melisandre gets in the way of Jon/Dany, given that I can't see him having any kind of relationship with Mel beyond the seXX0rz. This said... I'd honestly be quite disappointed if J/D happened. GRRM should be very, VERY convincing with the buildup, because right now they aren't even close to each other. They are like at the exact opposites of their world. Even if it turns out that Jon is a Targ (lol telegraphed much), that doesn't mean there's automatic chemistry. It would feel a lot like a deus ex machina thing to me.< /tl;dr>

134. What's with all these secrets from people who don't want to go to Japan anymore because they lost interest in anime? If it's money that concerns you, don't go, period. If it's something like an exchange project and it's already settled... go for the sake of the experience! Travelling around the world is a privilege that shouldn't be minimized, every country is worth a visit for a reason or the other.

I don't think J/M gets in the way at all; I'm just saying that I really want to see the J/D pairing happen in canon and have it done well. I definitely agree that the build up has to be excellent for GRRM to avoid falling into the deus ex machina trap. Besides, I think any relationship between them, romantic or political, would be compromised by their respective issues--Dany can't have kids and has a whole nation on the other side of the ocean to worry about, Jon has vows, etc., etc.--which would add a whole new layer of interest.

I'm not gonna comment un-anon because I'm a coward and I know people will bash this secret and me in kind for agreeing in a roundabout way with OP. Because anime weaboo is just as bad as OMGAZNGUY<3 weaboo. Not saying that I think that's what the secret meant; I'm pretty sure it was just worded poorly.

I'm not really into anime anymore, but I'm still fascinated with Japanese culture. And, yes, I DO think Japanese guys are hot. I really don't see anything wrong with that. If it were someone going to, say, Italy and wanted to fall in love there, I think there would be less opposition because of the stupid stigma that gets pulled on Japan. Whatever. Ridiculous double standards are ridiculous. Just don't act like an asshat.

Anyway, there's absolutely nothing wrong with anime being a segue into a deeper interest in Japan or Japanese guys or whatever (so long as you remember they're people and not playthings, but that's a given). And there's also nothing wrong with dreaming about falling in love, regardless of race. And balls to whoever tells you otherwise.

God damn do I hate both of those forums/website in the case of Serebii. And I'm too scared to edit mistakes in Bulbapedia because they are so fucking full of drama and insanity over the tiniest little details I just don't want to bother (even if they have a blatant mistake like Lucarios who can use Aura can read minds and emotions - really? ARE YOU SURE? Did you even see the Lucario movie/any episodes with a Lucario? Wow, he was REAL good at reading the minds and emotions of Aaron and Ash, that's why he completely never misunderstood them once the entire movie. That's sarcasm.)
