aren't you just arguing the relative attachment of certain characters? I mean, there's a reason for that, beyond favoritism you know. i too don't really understand how luke got from A to B in TLJ (and I would have accepted very little lmao), but episodic tv can make for more coherent and consistent characterization (especially when the medium has a specific perspective they're pushing) than 3 movies.
