Well he's kinda niche i guess, mostly musicals and plays (some movies and TV stuff but nothing too widely known tbh), he's very underrated (and likes it that way I guess XD)

I was just thinking the other day that I miss Philip Quast Anon!

I was going to comment "who?" but I see people have already got that covered.

Good for him! I saw him as Javert many (oh god I think 30???) years ago and he was great then and he's great now.

Gosh do I envy you, that must've been amazing. He's still the best Javert too, he can still sing Stars like no one else

This secret also reminds me of the anon who used to post secrets about the slightly goofy looking European (I all want to say Croatian?) actor with the really pretty eyes. Does anyone else remember those secrets? I miss that anon, and I am glad Philip Quast Anon is still around!

I love this. My fave has been doing what he’s doing for 30 odd years, and he’s maturing into full daddy mode, and so many people in my fandom are being bitchy about it to the extent where they’re questioning if he was even hot in the first place. And I’m just like: we should be celebrating that he’s had a long career, is happy & healthy and maturing into an old man and looks his age, instead of tearing him down because he doesn’t look the way he did 20 years ago.

Also had no idea who this was until I checked the comments, and as someone who’s grown up with Philip, I’m glad he looks so good, too. And that OP’s still finds him hot. Same.

Ugh that sucks, am sorry, but yes their long career should be celebrated and also a lot of people look really good older, especially if they aren't trying to stay ~young~ and are at peace with their age. Good for your fave, I'm sure a lot of people think like you and still think he's hot.

Did you grow up watching Philip in Play School anon? He was adorable. But is even more adorable now I think XD

(I'm not op, but) I used to watch Philip on Play School and reading this set off an "I'm a chooka train" memory in my brain. He was and is super adorable!

Just looked at pictures of him younger, and I have to agree-- he looks really good now :) age has done him well

I feel like it's an unpopular opinion to say he looks better now than 25 years ago when he used to get thousands of letters telling him how hot he is, but I genuinely think it's true XD

Honestly, I've always thought he vaguely looks like Russell Crowe in the 10th anniversary Les Mis concert.

Russell Crowe wishes he could be this pretty XD (and kind and warm and all the good things he could never be)
