I'm sorry, I know "consume" is an easy shorthand for "listen to, read, or watch"...but now I'm stuck imagining some kind of supernatural creature that literally consumes interviews. Like, maybe as a way of consuming some part of your soul through information you share with others? Some kind of Fae-adapting-to-social-media thing?

I understand why "consume" is used, because it's a convenient catchall for different media formats, but I also hate it because it sounds so pretentious.
