Agreed. Also a ridiculously stacked cast.

I wonder if it suffered from being technically part of the DC Universe without really being able to do anything with the DC Universe.

It was probably cancelled because it was up against two one-hour ratings juggernauts: Grey's and SPN. That gave it nearly impossible odds.

Music Genres

What are your favorite and least favorite music genres?

I'll grant you Grey's, but I don't think SPN was a ratings juggernaut by that point - funnily enough, I just went and looked it up, and Powerless did better numbers than SPN every single week it was on.

Favorite: Movie/Game/TV scores (if that counts), instrumental post-rock, classic rock, alternative...folk? (best I got).

Least favorite: Most country, rap, and pop after the 00s. Granted, I probably just need more exposure to it considering all that hear from these genres is on the radio.

Favorites: I love many styles, but here are my top 5 absolute favorites

Power and symphonic metal. I like something like 95% of the artists and a vast majority of their songs. The styles just work for me.

Scores and trailer music. More than half of my music is either soundtracks/scores or trailer music.

Celtic/viking/pagan music

Choral anything

Latin.


Least favorites: Jazz and blues and related styles. I'll occasionally like a jazz track, but for some reason for the most part it is one of the few styles I just don't like.

Death metal/thrash metal/any other similar style. Without some sort of melodic element, it just sounds like unpleasant noise to me.

It wasn't perfect, but I was super into it (pun intended) and wish so often that it had kept going. (Also, Emily/Green Fury is one of the few femslash ships I'm really passionate about, though I wouldn't have been opposed to Emily/Teddy (Danny Pudi's character).)

There's a lot of fic about them being fucked up for *most* of fandom thinking everything's fine.

eta: Weren't most current R/S shippers either toddlers or literal fetuses when Order of the Phoenix came out? Seems like they would care less about canon than OG Wolfstar shippers.

I thought I'd enjoy it but I didn't for some reason. Everything was too short and abrupt.
