I said "It made bisexual look as if they only care about genitals AT BEST, and transphobic AT WORST" meaning, no, having a genital preference doesn't make you transphobic. It just means you have (or don't) a genital preference. Which yes, it IS biphobic. That was my point. It was not "my" explanation, it was the "WHY" saying bisexual people care about if the trans person has or hasn't transitioned fully is biphobic.
MY personal take on the bi/pan debate is, since it was not clear: there's no REAL difference. Both are attracted to all genders, in paper. Of course, individual bi and pan people will have different levels of attraction, and have personal preferences in every area, but as an umbrella term? BOTH pan and bi mean that you are attracted to more than one gender, and don't limit what genders you are attracted to.
