That's because it only works on DW and LJ and forums like it. And those websites have fallen out of style.

Yep. I have fond memories of both FMA and Disney kinkmemes, and miss the curated interaction on LJ and DW especially.

Now that i think about it, has most writing stuff fallen out of style for fandom? Like, it might be my old self who sees dystopian elements, but when tumblr and twitter become THE sites where fandom focuses, it doesn't seem to lend itself a lot for writing, either as something to offer or as a reply.
