I think the last one I was a part of was in 2015-ish somewhere her on DW and that was for Attack on Titan.

The last two I participated in were the Hobbit kink meme and the Legend of the Seeker kink meme. That was years ago, though, and I am sure both are long gone.

Ah, I miss kink memes. I was active in Phoenix Wright, Star Trek TOS, and Tiger & Bunny at one point. I don't know if all "kink" memes are more crack/plotty premise than kink, but I liked that about those three, so I guess it may vary from person to person what makes a "good kink meme". ;)

...Then I got sick(er) and was unable to focus enough to write for several years and I still have stuff sitting out there unfinished on all of them because I just literally could not string more than two sentences together. I don't know if the last two are still active, but I still occasionally see prompts on the PWKM that I want to fill. Kind of feel like I'd be letting people down though because I can't write like I used to, and may leave any new fills unfinished too, since my health has only gotten worse.

But oh how I miss kink memes. Just popping on one day and seeing a prompt that will eat the next three months...

The last ones I participated in were in MCU and the Star Wars sequel trilogy right after The Force Awakens came out. The fandom purity wankers killed the latter meme.

Yeah. The last one I saw was like three years ago and it was awful. People could post their prompts and the only allowed replies were fills. You couldn't chat or brainstorm or comment it was a total bummer. So if that's where they were going I'm not surprised they lost steam.

When I was a teen in the mid-late 2000s I use to wear anime shirts/merch openly and was lucky enough not to get bullied for it (I still got bullied but just not directly for liking a thing lol) - mostly because everyone around me at the time mostly thought of pokemon when they saw anything anime related and were unaware of there being anything more than that.

I miss the show too; it deserved way better than it got. And tbh it was cancelled before TRoS even came out. Which sucks because we should have gotten more Sequel era stuff, and I loved the Galaxy it was fleshing out.

I mean, if you aren't here to see hot takes on fandoms you're not in delivered with a healthy serving of salt, why would you have that reaction? what does FS have to do with your obscure, dead fandom and why are you worried someone's salty take would ruin your enjoyment of this show? it's not like fandom is all squee and sunshine everywhere else.
