When I was a teen in the mid-late 2000s I use to wear anime shirts/merch openly and was lucky enough not to get bullied for it (I still got bullied but just not directly for liking a thing lol) - mostly because everyone around me at the time mostly thought of pokemon when they saw anything anime related and were unaware of there being anything more than that.

Still have the flu. I didn't stay up until midnight. However, I am only sleeping 2-3 hours at a time before I wake up coughing.

I tried to do a few chores around the house this morning, but I overdid it. Now I'm exhausted and laying in bed, watching Narnia until I'm able to fall asleep.

At least the fever is gone. So I am on the mend. I better be better by monday, because I have a lot of work to catch up on.

The last two I participated in were the Hobbit kink meme and the Legend of the Seeker kink meme. That was years ago, though, and I am sure both are long gone.

I was gonna say, I was a teen in the late 90s and even then places like Hot Topic and Suncoast and FYE had fairly sizeable sections of anime shirts/merch. It wasn't as common to see people wearing it as it is today but it definitely wasn't all that odd either.

wishful thinking. I mean, if you aren't here to see hot takes on fandoms you're not in delivered with a healthy serving of salt, why would you have that reaction? what does FS have to do with your obscure, dead fandom and why are you worried someone's salty take would ruin your enjoyment of this show? it's not like fandom is all squee and sunshine everywhere else.

I don't have any yet. I plan on someday getting a couple tattoos once I've lost a bunch of weight. I want one tattoo to be some kind of dragon. The other one will probably be the One Ring.

When I was 17 years old I had seriously thought about getting a load of anime tattoos, but was too broke at the time and never got round to it and I'm kind of grateful for it - especially since one of the tattoos I wanted to get was the mustache panda from the yaoi Junjo Romantica, so lol I dodged a bullet there.

I still want to get a tattoo of a panel from Tokyo Babylon one day.
