I tried watching it. Loved the first arc, Blood Phantom. But Battle Tendency bored me.

I feel like I should keep watching to reach the part with the stands or whatever. That's supposed to be the best.

Do whatever you want, nonny, but as a casual viewer of the anime and someone not active in the fandom, I endorse skipping to "Stardust Crusaders" or "Diamond is Unbreakable".

I got into the show because I saw an episode from "Diamond is Unbreakable". I watched a couple episodes and thought it'd be a good idea to watch from the beginning. I KNEW what it would build to and I was so intrigued by the characters and Stands that even though the first two seasons were so fucking different I stuck around to see how the whole Stand lore started.

I was literally like, "This starts in 19th Century England?!?!! What? It's about vampires? What?"
IMHO in the grand scheme of things, you don't have to watch it in it's entirety from Episode 1. I think each season can stand alone without needing context from previous seasons and that you can even watch the series out of order. IMO it's well written enough that each season can stand on its' own legs and that you don't have to watch it from the beginning to "get" it. But I do think JJBA benefits from having a creative world building so that if you watch it from the beginning you might appreciate and connect to a lot of characters more, and a lot of the emotional highs and lows can feel more impactful as a fan/viewer.

I think I'll watch some episodes of "Diamond is Unbreakable" and go from there. The stands are what drew me to the series in the first place.
