What is THE go-to Fix-It in your fandom?

You know the one - the episode/book/scene/whatever that it feels like EVERYONE has a go at if they write for the fandom.

For Doctor Who the go-to is probably Doomsday/Journey's end for the Doctor/Rose shippers, and recently there have been a lot of alternate explanations for the s12 arc. Bonus: all those fix-its that prevent/reverse Children of Earth Day 4.

Both Sapphire and Steel and Blake's 7 end on very depressing notes, so retconning or finding a way to continue beyond their final episodes is a classic when it comes to fanfic.

There are a few for Supernatural, but the ending seems to be the biggest one right now with a lot of people writing it so Sam and Dean personally get Cas out of the Empty or Cas showing up to save Dean from the rusty nail.

At least for the authors I read, the 'End Game' scene were Steve decides to go back in time and totally negate all of Peggy's choices, successes, life, etc., while leaving his best friend - PTSD-wracked and still under suspicion by the world's govts - behind to fend for himself with barely a goodbye or explanation.

Getting Bran his memory back for The Dark is Rising. The memory loss at the end is the one major downside to the books and most people who read it agree.
