It's also possible OP is from the US, but didn't keep up with tabloids. A lot of people aren't exactly tuned in to celeb culture now when the way social media algorithms work makes it a lot harder to avoid, let alone nearly two decades ago when that show started.

what was it that made you exercise? also it's not like there are actual character arcs, if you really can't stand the charlie sheen seasons just watch the ashton kutcher ones. i don't make a claim to their quality but that's true of the show anyway so....

I'm not sure. Maybe because we have a chubby cute kid, a doctor, an objectifying playboy, a chubby cleaning lady and a very fit old lady... All those characters make me think about weight? No idea other than that. I'll check the Kutcher ones. My tastes can be trashy, it's true.

Those are such interesting descriptions. There were so many fat jokes toward some characters and objectifying playboys on early 2000s shows, I would never have twigged this one as special by body type. Well, I sincerely hope you get to a body you're good with without needing to frame it through television in all honesty. And I hope you enjoy the Kutcher seasons.

I was directly responding to your question(and thus the secret) about what about this show makes OP want to exercise by giving a possible answer: some people just like to exercise while watching their favorite TV shows. There’s no deeper meaning to it, and the fact that you questioned it was strange. OP’s answer to your question was a little different than mine(and valid), but mine is a natural answer too.

This show's my guilty pleasure, but I thought it took a nosedive after Chelsea left. I did lowkey ship Charlie/Rose though, but mainly because I really liked Rose.
