There is Natasha Romanov, yeah being childless makes her an unworthy of love inhuman monster, but she remains childfree nonetheless.

Uh, that's not what was happening there at all. She felt she was a monster because the Red Room turned her into a ruthless murderer, and sterilizing her was part of that, as a way to remove the one thing that might matter more to her than a mission. It was one more choice taken away from her at an early age.

I can't tell if you're trolling, or are reading the wrong post, or if you sincerely believe that "you need to work on your reading comprehension" and "you make yourself look like an idiot" aren't things an asshole would say in response to a post where the commenter was doing nothing to warrant it.

I think people were irritated that they revived an ongoing ugly wank about Age of Ultron in a particularly wanky way. I can see why that person got crabby, whether it was warranted or not.

And AYRT is saying the “if everyone you meet is an asshole, you’re the asshole” at them because they said every comment they post is constantly getting personal attacks thrown at them(I’m pretty sure that’s what they meant, even though they actually said every comment they post is a personal attack?). That’s very suspicious that everyone else is always being rude to them for no reason, almost like they’re not sharing something about it what they’re actually posting. So the asshole saying is completely applicable. I have no idea why you’re coming in with the “I don’t know if you’re reading the wrong post”, because AYRT’s response makes perfect sense.

I also don’t know how you can possibly think AYRT is trolling either. Maybe don’t throw the troll accusations without rhyme or reason, because that’s troll behavior too. But you’re conveniently ignoring how the “joyless cunt” response is way worse and more inflammatory.

As AYRT explained, the commenter did do something to warrant it, or at least warrant a response in a similar vein. I do think the response could have done without the insult, and the reading comprehension remark, sure. But that bit from AoU meaning Natasha is calling herself a monster because she can’t give birth has been debunked for years now, and is only brought up by ignorant people, or people looking to dig up old wank. So there’s reason to try to nip it in the bud just in case it’s the latter, because everyone’s sick of that wank that’s been around for over 5 years. But if that anon was truly ignorant of it being debunked, then personal attacks aren’t helpful. I’m not disagreeing with that.

TL;DR, that post might not have been the best, but it’s understandable in a way. The anon and the posts by them that you’re defending are way worse though.

You’re the one who’s coming off as a troll, to be honest. And I mean that in the sudden intensity of your post coming of like something a troll would do. I didn’t post anything in this thread until the one saying you’re the one coming across like the petty bully pissing on everything(which is still true), but you’re acting like I’m the one who said the comment that pissed you off. That anon was simply stating that the people who keep on with the debunked Age of Ultron wank look foolish(also true), and you called them a cunt in response. You took this from 0 to 100 in a millisecond, for seemingly no good reason. And you’re definitely the instigator here, make no mistake.

Do I wish people could talk in this comm without constant personal attacks and passive aggressive behavior? Definitely. I just had a terrible interaction with a user who decided to be an asshole for no reason based on the most innocuous comment, and it was stupid and frustrating. And they weren’t the first. They won’t be the last. And that sucks. It sucks that you can never predict when anything you say will be met with derision here, for no real reason.

But sometimes, it is warranted. Age of Ultron wank kind of warrants derision. And you were the one who decided to act like an asshole for no reason in this case. If you run into people acting derisive with every comment you make, literally every one like you implied, then the anon above me is right: If everyone is an asshole, you’re probably the real asshole.

Also, not a be a spelling fascist, but it’s “clique” not “click”, in the context you’re using it. I’m not correcting you for any reason other than so you can be aware in the future. That doesn’t mean I’m not prepared for you to take it the wrong way regardless.

There is a difference between Childfree and Childless. Natasha Romanov in MCU is childless, since it seems that she has negative feelings about her infertility.

AoU is really the only MCU film I hate. Not only because of the catastrophic bungling of this plot line, but it's in there. I'm really not here to give Joss Whedon that credit that with 141 minutes and 500 million dollars that was the best he could do.

In the comics it's more... complicated. She seems 100% ok with not having kids because of the *lifestyle* of being an ageless super-spy but also her most recent story line involves her getting brainwashed into having a family and she's like "FUCK this isn't the life I want but also I can't just turn off this love." So she tries to keep them safe after returning to superheroing. Yelena is also pretty cool with he not having kids thing. Sharon Carter was pretty into the I Don't Want To Be A Wife And Mother Because Super Spy but you know that could all change with one writer.
