(Anonymous) 2022-01-28 12:59 am (UTC)(link)I started writing smut in earnest and posting them online last year and it's been really liberating and fun! I post for a small fandom and I'm not doing much to "build" an audience. I thank people who leave comments but that's about it. I let myself enjoy the Hits and Kudos I receive, even if they're not a lot.
If it's literally the idea that one day someone close to you may read your filth, that's fine! No pressure to post smut! But if you have the desire to post your works, I'd say take the leap and post them!

(Anonymous) 2022-01-28 03:05 am (UTC)(link)I'm glad that writing and posting your smut has helped you feel liberated! I also want to have some fun! It's been so long since I've posted ANYTHING... I'm just afraid writing anything fanfic related might zap any regular writing (which it's been a while) feelings so...sigh. anyway! Keep posting -- honestly what you're describing is kind of what I'm looking to do, just post, thank whoever enjoyed it, and keep interaction minimal. Audience building isn't required, but it's nice to know people enjoy what you put out!
