Why the fuck not? It's fiction. It's not like every real life person has the same erogenous zones either. Real people often have surprising areas that turn them on, and not every commonly accepted erogenous zone applies to every person.

It doesn't even have to be that everyone's in the universe's entire anus and rectum are erogenous zones, it could simply be that in your story or headcanon, that bottom character's zones are there and act like that.

I was wondering about this too, speaking as an asexual virgin - it seems to me that if women also enjoy anal sex, it can't be SOLELY the prostate stimulation, since they don't have one.

Anyone arguing about (what in this case I consider) a petty detail is a combination of:

A: They don't know much what they're talking about, really. Heard someone say X and now go around repeating "IT'S ALWAYS LIKE X" because it makes them feel smart or something and are discounting how varied experiences can be and for what reasons (some things can be pleasurable not in an obvious sense or a "press the button to make feel good" but for more psychological reasons or what have you.)

B: Don't understand the purpose of erotica, that a lot of things are exaggerated and played up for the sake of fantasy and erroneously assume the only reason the author is writing what they are is because they "don't know better." Some things are straight up made up for particular genres, like ABO or monsterfucking.
