For example, he MCU sub had a post where the OP stated a preference for the films where the director's voice came through. Among these "less mediocre" films? Iron Man 3 and Avengers: Age of Ultron.
It's like all those think-pieces about how the Star Wars Prequels are better than we remeber... right after Disney paid 1 billion dollars for them.
It's so fake. I prefer my fandom under a rock where producers won't look.
