I agree that the way some people behaved in the comments under the US Genshin account's Ayato design reveal tweet was pretty shitty (throwing insults and being rude in general) but the way some others now act like it's some sort of sacrilege to not be 100% thrilled about the design is really stupid as well.
It's okay to not like a design or to like the fan designs better! Especially since the official designers just can't stop giving male characters the same bland mullet-with-tiny-rat's-tail hairstyle.
