So I got unexpected tickets to see this when the original ticket holders got sick, and knowing exactly 0% of what this was about, and being a young-transitioning-to-mid-30some single gal, let's just say I was extremely not prepared to have the contents of private conversations with friends and family belted out by Broadway legend Patti Lupone.
Agree it doesn't work as seamlessly as it might've before; the concepts are kind of outdated, but like, not for my grandmother 😂
