I can kind of relate, because I grew up with Fireball20XL, which got me into art and communities and the like, and now that I look back on what they're doing now I can't imagine why I thought it was funny, or at least as funny as I thought it was. Part of me feels I've outgrown them, but part of me still really wants to enjoy what they do. I don't even know.

155. GO AHEAD AND WRITE IT. I'm in your boat - late to the party and all - but I think the fandom can always use more activity, and some new insights. Plus, what I've seen of the fandom seems to be pretty friendly. And no one has to read it - but I will, if I run into it, and I'm sure others will as well.

125- Whenever people talk about "tops" and "bottoms" in non-D/S relationships, I tend to think they haven't had many. Or that the ones they've had have been pretty unhealthy. And if they are talking about D/S relationships, I generally disagree with the qualities that people think make a dominant or submissive person. The whole fannish concept of tops and bottoms annoys me, really.

130- Yeah, and Dean was just a sidekick who existed to get Sam back on the road and to make wisecracks and dumb comments that sensitive hero Sam could chide him for. Fortunately for all of us, characters evolve beyond their initial conception.

156. Shrek, the Musical? It exists. I just saw it last Saturday. It's mediocre, almost every line is straight out of the movie and it's taking up a Broadway theater that some better show could be occupying. In short, it's a poorly-disguised moneymaking operation, plain and simple.
