How is that any different from explicit tags, though? A lot of authors who write kinky stuff are very thorough with their tags so that people can find the kinks they're looking for. I see plenty of tags that get pretty graphically descriptive too.

like... you presumably understand the concept of content warnings? like you would not argue that reading the tag for rape is the same thing as reading the actual rape? just apply the same logic.

No, I'm talking about tags that talk explicitly about what kinks are in the fic. OP is saying they don't want to see dirty stuff while browsing fic summaries, but there are a whole lot of tags that are used on kinky fics that describe in detail the dirty acts that are going to be going down in that fic.
