It's too bad Archer went to garbage after Adam Reed stopped editing all the scripts. If I could stand to watch anything post-Veronica Deane, I'd probably agree with you.

There is a vocal minority that scream about that sort of thing. The show has been on long enough that there is a percentage of the fandom who weren't there to see it begin, so are hanging their hat on screaming it down in order to claim credit for when it ends. Same as any long running fandom, they always accrue a "stop making it" crowd.

I loved Archer 1999. Didn't care for the others, though.

Since Adam also voices Ray Gillette, and is still very much involved with the show even if no longer doing the day to day running of it, I don't think you can claim that.

I'm not sure what your point is. The writing has become considerably weaker since he stepped aside as the main showrunner/writer. Whether or not he's voicing Ray is irrelevant.
