Fuck off and don't speak for us

Signed, a genuinely disabled person who thinks difficulty modes should be standard in everything because your easy can still be my hard

FromSoft's stans need more personality traits than "FromSoft fan" I swear, they could tell you that guzzling real shit would make the game better and you'd do it

nah. if a developer wants their game to be played at a certain level of difficulty, that's their right because it's their piece of art. there are plenty of non-disabled people who struggle with certain games too, it's not like this is an abled versus disabled thing.

not every game needs to be for everyone and that's fine. it's not like there aren't literally thousands of other games out there to play.

signed, a fellow disabled person

Lol what a ray of sunshine you are. Where did I even say the games are easy? Also, you are equally not the only person with health restrictions that keep you from playing certain games and you, likewise, don't speak for everyone either.

I don't play FromSoft games because my patience and time for games that are designed to be frustrating is limited. I don't like Open World games because I keep losing my way even with maps. I have actual health issues that prevent me from playing certain types of games.

You know what I do? I don't curse and bitch at people on the internet for enjoying those games the way they are programmed. I go play games I do enjoy and am able to play instead. You will survive not playing a series of 4 games, I promise. Try playing one of the thousands of games that HAVE difficulty settings catering to you instead.

It's especially funny because Elden Ring already HAS a built-in easy mode in the form of things you can do in the game to make your life easier. Getting your face smashed in by a boss? Go level up/get better gear and then come back and smash ITS face in. Use magic/summons. Summon friends to help you. Heck, one of my friends was having trouble with a boss and then she found an item that allowed her to summon giant rats, so she used those to kill the boss.

There are so many ways to make fights easier already that Elden Ring doesn't NEED an easy mode - it already exists.

full offense, if you're that big a fanboy that you think "you can level up" constitutes an easy mode you should like, not participate in fromsoft threads

That's not an easy mode, but it is glaring proof that video game fanboys don't necessarily know a whole hell of a lot about how video games actually work.

What a strange comment. There are plenty of video games, in fact, that do work that way. Mostly JRPGs from my experience, but beating the side quests and leveling up before fighting a boss is absolutely a thing. I wouldn't call it any kind of "mode," though. You're just overpowered.

And before you call me a fanboy, try again.

Exactly. RPGs are the dumbest category of games to be whining about needing an easy mode for because very, very few games have bosses that scale with your stats. Nine times out of ten the solution to "this boss is too hard" is to just go level up more. If you can't kill it at level 30, go level up to 40 and then come back and try again and it'll be easy.
