Idk if it’s a generational thing or what but the jokey ‘I hate it, get out’ responses is something I grew up doing, and I’m not a fandom young’un by any means, in my 30’s, but culturally where I live sarcasm is second nature so making these kinds of jokes is fine between friends because we know it’s not real.

Not to devalue your dislike, you can be bothered by it, I just find it fascinating how it doesn’t make me feel out of touch or old because fandom is now using the same method of showing an emotional response that me, my friends, and family always have.
