And they say FS doesn't cater to older fandoms. Man, that is some vintage secreting.

Man, I have got to go back and re-watch some Bewitched. I used to catch it randomly as re-runs, but never enough to compare the two Darrins.

The key is the forehead, giant forehead and mousy hair and you've got Darrin Two (Sargent), narrow forehead and face, with slicked back hair, and you've got Darrin One (York). Also Darrin Two will be more, not exactly relaxed, but more inclined to just role with it and make sarcastic comments. Dick York was bouncing around the place with nervous energy. It was part of the reason York chose to leave the role, it was too energetic for him with his back condition (that he got thanks to a stunt gone wrong on an otherwise forgettable Western), and he just hated that Darrin was written to be so upset all the time.

I always liked Endora better. She was PROUD to be a witch. Samantha always seemed to be sort of ashamed of her witchiness.

Eh, she was going through a phase. Just trying something. Like those rich kids who have everything but go and spend a few years roughing it on a farm. Her lifespan was in the centuries, if not millennia (the show could never decide) so what is a few decades pushing a vacuum cleaner and being a perfect housewife for the sake of the experience.

I love secrets like this - it's fun to get a whole new perspective on an older show/fandom :D. Next time I watch episodes with the second Darrin, I'll pay closer attention to his scenes with Endora, 'cause now you've got me curious!
