So you liked her just fine, but like the show better without her and don’t miss her? Well, that’s not exactly a contradiction. And it’s not something I can’t relate to at all in some way. It’s just interesting.

I guess I do understand in that it’s unusual for me to really hate characters, with some exceptions. I typically either love them or don’t feel that strongly for them. The characters I don’t feel strongly for can range from “like and don’t mind them” to “don’t care about them at all, and forget they exist sometimes”. So I would probably feel a similar way if a character I liked but didn’t love or feel too strongly for left or was written out. I just can’t think of any examples of that happening off the top of my head.
