Hahahha. Yeah, I can relate to this. It's not like I never listened to Queen before the early 00s, but I got into Eroica right as I was having another "oh right they're awesome, must listen to all the Queen" phase and now I can't imagine Freddy Mercury singing "Good Old Fashioned Loverboy" because I just picture Dorian (singing to a very annoyed Klaus).

Anyone else still into Flight Rising? What do you think of the newest species, Aberrations? Personally, I'm super obsessed with them and think they are the best species yet.

I read the whole trilogy ages ago, but if I remember correctly, I don’t think that issue is ever addressed. I didn’t like the books and I think I only read them ‘cause I had a lot of time on my hands back then. I normally love Meg Cabot’s books, but she’s written a few doozies (the Airhead series was another one that I struggled to finish).

This happens to me all the time. I end up associating music and media that have nothing to do with each other, together in the same memory because I happened to consume them both at the same time.

This happens to me too. I wrote a fic a little while ago while listening to Kayleigh Goldsworthy songs and now all those songs remind me of the characters.

Doctor Who (and other Doctor Who-like things). I mean that's basically what Doctor Who is to me - the greatest piece of media ever created for just mixing together different genres in weird and awesome ways.
