I went to work! My skip-level came in and gave us some unfortunate news; nothing bad for my department, just a frustrating decision by the higher ups that's going to make my colleague's job harder. Got a Wendy's salad for lunch, it was delicious. Came home, checked on my Sims 4 Snowpiercer house (I just added Pike and Ruth), and am debating the first episode of Moon Knight.

Alternately laid around in bed and paced around my house trying to shake off what may or may not be vaccine side effects. Tried to re-read an old fic of mine in preparation for more Tiger & Bunny coming soon but either side effects hit worse just then or I have PTSD for that fandom based on what else was going on in my life when I was into it.

I picked lemons off my backyard tree and made lemonade, its very good! And I'm having chicken curry rice for dinner and am happy about that. Also I got an email this afternoon that said my special order birthday present has been shipped, which is nice because I ordered it in February and it only took 6 weeks rather than 8 to make and ship, yay! Now I keep refreshing the UPS page to see if its in the system yet and when the delivery date will be, lol. Right now I'm sipping my lemonade and watching women's basketball. Its been a very nice day.

My sister got a restraining order against her (soon to be ex) husband on Monday. He took the kids from school on Tuesday and no one has seen them since. My sister got an emergency custody order today. He knows the police are looking for him and has gone into hiding with the kids.

Jesus Christ, that's awful. Really hope everything works out OK. How stressful and terrifying.

Yeah. I just hope they can find them soon. I hope the kids are not too traumatized by it. The domestic violence shelter is going to help get the kids therapy at well.

Us too. My only hope is that he doesn't have a ton of money. So he hopefully can't go far.

Oh no, that's awful, I'm so sorry. I hope he is found and the kids are found and they are all right and he gets charged.

I don't know if he can be charged with anything but I hope so for the terror he has caused.

something like that happened to my cousins, whose father just straight up aducted them to china. nothing bad happened to them, the hurt was mostly on the adults who had to find a way to get them back. not trying to make this about me, just sharing to show that things can absolutely turn out alright in these situations.

Prepared two bond applications and two employment authorization applications. Had to tell the family of a fifth client that he wasn't eligible for bond.

Now I'm home and watching youtube vids (right now myth debunk ones on the science insider channel) with an ice pack on my head and a heating pad on my back. My kitty is amusing my by rolling around the floor in front of me with her favorite toy. She just loves feathers.

I believe we're doing knockwurst/bratwurst for dinner along with potato salad, regular salad, and not sure what else.

Had upset stomach for a third day in a row, ate Chinese food, did laundry, and am now watching Murderville.

Training someone new at work. Nice older lady, seems perpetually disappointed that I'm not better at explaining why her phone is doing a thing. (Not job related.) Got zero percent of my own work done, so will probably have to work tomorrow to catch up. Sincerely thinking of taking a lower stress job that pays less because the stress of working here is getting painful.

Celebrated that year end fiscal inventory is OVER. To all those who also celebrate this illustrious day, I pray you survived.

I played with the tumblr crabs a little. I'll miss them.
