I was used as a distant friend's emotional punching bag this evening. Super fun. We haven't talked in months, she contacted me about making plans and when I told her I had already started making plans, she basically unloaded everything in her arsenal on me for an hour until I was literally shaking.

And then she found someone else to go with her and laughed it off while I had to pace my living room with my heart beating out of my chest from being put through the crucible.

I screenshot the messages to an actual good friend and she called me up and talked through it all. It's nice to be validated that I'm not over reacting and now we are going to Goodwill on Sunday. And I will probably make cookies! So all your wishes will come true.

Wow, she sounds like an asshole. Whatever you made plans for, I hope you have a way better time than she does. I also hope you steer clear of this asshole in the future.
