I was hoping that I was just going to relax, play games, work on little cosplay details, and take nice walks in the park... but on my way to take a walk in the park, my car's dashboard lights all lit up again. ;_; I have to get this dealt with either this weekend or next weekend, because the weekend after that will be my second covid shot and I expect I will not want to do anything at all - and then I only have a couple weeks before I'm supposed to drive to Chicago.

Oh man, so sorry. This was me Wednesday. On my way to a court hearing I hit a pothole and ended up getting two flat tires. I really hope you can get your car fixed quickly and still have time to relax.

Ugh, I dealt with ONE flat tire a couple months ago with this car and that was enough. (In sub-zero weather. And the tow guys were going to take three hours. At least the car still ran. I sure hope your help arrived sooner, seeing as you had somewhere to be!)

And then I dropped $1200 on the suspension, and a week later all the dashboard lights lit up like this on my way back from an out of state trip.

It was only two weekends ago it went into a trusted but not-hybrid-specialist shop so they could fix that. And I thought they did, to the tune of $500 more, but apparently not.

Which means since it's a Prius and Priuses are "SPECIAL", I probably have to take it to a Toyota dealership where they can gouge me because I have no alternative. Except "Well I've been looking at newer models online and have one I was already looking into for not much more than this repair would cost" if it's in the thousands. (I'd been fearing the "your hybrid battery is dying" result for a couple months so decided to be proactive.)

Aw dang, I hope it isn't anything serious!

At this point the only likely options after the repairs that were ALREADY done that we thought fixed this are either that it is indeed something very serious (replace the hybrid battery which is in the thousands and really you should just buy a newer car), or "oops some sensor is just a little excited and is throwing warnings for no reason".

I like to think the latter because it's still driving fine, but... :|
