Feel you on your HP picks. With Boba Fett, I hated him so much dealing with original trilogy fanboys, but have been enjoying Book of Boba Fett (if only because some of those fanboys were so vocal in hating him having... an actual character instead of just being a cool set of armor)

I kind of hate Meg from Supernatural-- it never felt like her redemption arc was equal to the harm she did. I don't enjoy hating her, there are a lot of elements of her that I really like, but the whole of how she is in the show just left me with a bad taste in my mouth, like... she's responsible for the deaths/torture of multiple beloved characters, and in the end she doesn't even reform out of genuine growth/remorse, she goes from being in an 'enemy of my enemy' situation to 'well I'll do good because I like a boy', which just feels... gross/insulting? Maybe if she hadn't died so soon after that point, romantic feeling could have been a catalyst to actual growth, but as it was, it felt like lip service to the idea of redemption, with everyone just happy to forget past harm she'd done. Felt like less of a grudge was held against her for everything she'd done than was held against Jack, who was like, three. (weirdly, I can fully enjoy fanon Meg, depending on the writer)

In contrast, I don't hate canon Benny but I wind up hating a lot of fanon Benny.

Canon vs canon rather than canon vs fanon, but my feelings about Yenn in the games and the series... very different. (haven't read the Witcher books so there's no tiebreaker)
