I’m excluding Hallelujah from this list, because IMO it's not really saying something religious but using religious imagery and ideas metaphorically, so I don’t really consider it religious in nature.
As for TV, I guess Battlestar Galactica ultimately was in this category. I mean, the fact that it leaned all the way into the religious themes towards the end really disappointed me, but the eerie ambiguity of the first couple seasons was great, IMO, and I do still absolutely love the show overall, despite being disappointed with how it ended.
Also, Good Omens, but I’ve only seen the show.
